When someone tells me something about themselves, I always assume it's true.
Not because I am easily fooled or conned, it's because I don't go around thinking everyone is lying.

That kind of mindset and worldview is dangerous to your personal growth and you’re only hurting yourself in the end, maybe you need to look inside of you to make sure you're not drinking your own poison.
Of course, my intuition already got you sorted, but that's another story for another day.
