Society needs strong men AND women. By strong I don't mean muscles, I mean mental strength and strength of character.
Lifting weights builds physical strength, persevering under mental pressure builds character.

We live in a world at the moment where we reward the entitled, lazy and uninspired with handouts and validation and look at strong men and women who have built up the courage, drive and determination to win, achieve and succeed like they are "lucky" or "blessed". The truth is, we are all lucky and blessed, it's just that some of us feel like the world owes us something and that we have the right to hang shit on those who work hard to achieve and become successful.
Can you imagine a world full of lazy, uninspired quitters? There'd be no progress, no innovation and no records broken. The world simply wouldn't move forward. People would probably starve because they have no drive to do what is needed to survive, they would expect someone else, someone stronger, to do the work for them and keep them fed. If danger approaches, they wouldn't know how to deal with it because they think evil would feel sorry for them and not eat them.
The truth is, society rewards the lazy with "safety" and "security" and those same people are happy to give up their freedom to be cared for.
We need strong men and women in society to drive things forward. We need strong people to push boundaries. We need people to think big and think for themselves, finding a better way. We need strong men and women to use their God given intuition to be mindful of the evil that exists whether we like it or not . We need strong men and women to create and build, to lead, to motivate, energize and inspire others.
Society needs to understand that the stronger you become, the gentler you will be. Strong people have compassion and empathy. Strong people can show us what is possible if we take ownership, control, focus and channel our aggression, confront demons and see things as they are not as we wished they were. We need strong people to lead by example and build people up and we need strong people to show us that self reliance and independence is freedom.
We need strong people to protect the voiceless and downtrodden and to protect the innocent and stand up to injustices.
If we continue to go down this path of appeasing the weak, lazy, uninspired and entitled simply because they think the world owes them something, then we are sending a very bad message to the next generation.
